Former Invest Buffalo Niagara COO Jenna Kavanaugh has moved to the private sector, but the mission at her new job looks much the same. Kavanaugh is National Grid's new lead economic development representative for Western New York. She's now responsible for administering the company's 18 economic development programs, which provide grants and other forms of assistance to businesses in the company's service area. Kavanaugh already had a close working relationship with National Grid, which supported many of the projects with which Invest Buffalo Niagara was involved.
